Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, and extra for garnish
  • 6 oz. apple cider, plus extra for rimming glass
  • 1 1/2 oz. fine calvados
  • 4 oz. heavy cream
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a wide bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Dip the rim of a double-walled glass in apple cider and then in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  3. Whip cream and 1/2 oz. calvados until stiff peaks form, then refrigerate.
  4. Heat 6 oz. apple cider in a saucepan and add the remaining calvados.
  5. Pour the warm mixture into the prepared glass and top with the whipped cream.
  6. Garnish with ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.
