Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 oz vodka
- 2 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz espresso
- 1-2 oz cinnamon syrup
- 1-2 oz half and half or cream
- chocolate sauce and coarse vanilla sugar, for the rim
Instructions
- To make the cinnamon syrup, combine 1/2 cup water, honey, and cinnamon in a pot. Boil over high heat for 3-5 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let it cool and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. This recipe makes enough for 6 drinks.
- Optionally, rim your glass with chocolate sauce and sugar.
- Fill your glass with ice, then add vodka, Kahlua, espresso, and vanilla syrup. Stir to combine.
- Add the half and half and stir again. Garnish with cinnamon, if desired.
