Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz espresso
  • 1-2 oz cinnamon syrup
  • 1-2 oz half and half or cream
  • chocolate sauce and coarse vanilla sugar, for the rim

Instructions

  1. To make the cinnamon syrup, combine 1/2 cup water, honey, and cinnamon in a pot. Boil over high heat for 3-5 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let it cool and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. This recipe makes enough for 6 drinks.
  2. Optionally, rim your glass with chocolate sauce and sugar.
  3. Fill your glass with ice, then add vodka, Kahlua, espresso, and vanilla syrup. Stir to combine.
  4. Add the half and half and stir again. Garnish with cinnamon, if desired.
