Ingredients
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves
- 1 oz simple syrup (or 1 or 2 teaspoons of caster sugar)
- Ice cubes
- 2 oz St Germain elderflower liquor
- 2 oz Havana Club rum
- Juice of half a lime
- 1 lime (cut in quarters)
- Club soda
Instructions
- Place the fresh mint leaves into a tall glass and add the simple syrup. Use a muddler to gently crush the mint leaves to release their oils.
- Add ice cubes to the glass, and then squeeze in the juice of half a lime. Pour in the St Germain elderflower liquor and rum.
- Drop the lime quarters into the glass and top up with club soda.
- Stir the cocktail gently and serve.
