Festive Frosty Sugar Cookie Margarita
A holiday-themed margarita with the flavors of sugar cookies, tequila, and lime, rimmed with vanilla frosting and sugar cookie sprinkles.
Ingredients
- 1.30 oz water
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar cookie mix (such as Betty Crocker)
- 2/3 oz sugar
- 1 oz tequila
- 0.50 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz Sugar Cookie Simple Syrup
- splash of orange liqueur
- 2 teaspoons store-bought vanilla frosting
- Christmas cookie sprinkles
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine water, powdered sugar cookie mix, and sugar.
- Cover and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, until the powdered sugar cookie mix and sugar are dissolved.
- In a Mason jar, shake vigorously the tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and a splash of orange liqueur.
- Pour the mixture over ice into serving glasses rimmed with frosting and rolled in sugar cookie sprinkles.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
