Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup half & half
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (ground)
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (ground)
- a pinch of cloves (ground)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In a pot, whisk together the egg, sugar, and half & half.
- Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring frequently, until it reaches 150°F/66°C.
- Add the spices, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream, then whisk to combine.
