Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground clove
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 3 tablespoons Kahlua
  • 3 tablespoons homemade gingerbread syrup
  • 1/4 cup half and half (*adjust according to preference)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, vanilla, brown sugar, molasses, grated ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Boil for 3-5 minutes, then set aside to cool.
  2. Rim 8oz cocktail glasses with cinnamon sugar and fill them halfway with ice.
  3. Stir in the vodka, Kahlua, and 3 tablespoons of the gingerbread syrup, mixing well.
  4. Pour in the half and half and gently mix.
