Ingredients
- 1 large very fresh farm egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- Garnish: fresh grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Carefully separate the egg yolk from the white and refrigerate the egg white.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and sugar until smooth.
- Slowly whisk in the milk and cream. Set aside.
- In another medium bowl, whisk the egg white until two-thirds of the mixture is frothy.
- Stir the frothy egg white mixture into the yolk mixture and discard the remaining one-third egg white mixture.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh grated nutmeg.
- Store sealed in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Shake the jar before mixing the cocktails.
