Ingredients

  • 1 lemon wedge
  • White sugar
  • 1 oz cognac or brandy
  • 1/2 oz cherry flavored liqueur
  • Coffee
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Rub the rim of a coffee mug with the lemon wedge and then dip the rim in white sugar.
  2. Pour the cognac and cherry liqueur into the mug.
  3. Fill the mug almost to the top with hot, strong coffee, leaving about 3/4 of an inch.
