Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon toasted pecan halves, crushed
  • 3/4 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • Ice
  • 1 ounce bourbon
  • 1 ounce maple-pecan liqueur
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Whipped cream and pecan halves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Spread crushed pecans on a small plate.
  2. Pour maple syrup onto another small plate.
  3. Dip the rim of a cocktail glass into the maple syrup and then into the pecans to coat it. Repeat with another glass.
  4. Fill the glasses with ice, if desired, and set aside.
  5. In a cocktail shaker, combine bourbon, maple-pecan liqueur, and cream.
  6. Cover and shake vigorously.
  7. Divide the cocktail between the prepared glasses.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves, if desired.
