Red Berry Sangria Slush

Ingredients

  • 5 oz red wine
  • 1/2 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur)
  • 1/2 oz chambord (or blackberry liqueur)
  • 2 tsp simple syrup
  • 1/3 cup raspberries (frozen)
  • 1/3 cup strawberries (frozen)
  • 1/3 cup blueberries (frozen)
  • 1/2 cup ice (if needed)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the red wine, triple sec, and chambord, then pour the mixture into ice trays and freeze for 2 hours.
  2. After freezing, place the wine cubes in a blender with the frozen fruit.
  3. Pulse for a few seconds to break everything apart, then blend on high until smooth, about 45 seconds.
  4. Add ice if the slushie is not quite frozen enough and blend again until smooth.
  5. Pour the slushie into a chilled stemless wine glass and garnish with extra frozen fruit if desired. Serve immediately.
