  • 1 ounce orgeat
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 fresh egg white
  • 2-3 dashes of angostura bitters
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine dark rum, orgeat, lemon juice, egg white, and bitters in a cocktail shaker or mason jar without ice.
  2. Seal and shake the mixture for 30 seconds (dry shake).
  3. Open the shaker or jar and add a generous amount of ice.
  4. Seal and shake vigorously for one to two minutes (wet shake) to create the frothy topping.
