Ingredients

  • Salt, for rim
  • 2 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 squeeze of lime juice
  • 6 ounces ruby red (pink) grapefruit juice or grapefruit soda (like Fresca, Squirt, or Jarritos)
  • 1 lime wedge, for garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Moisten the rim of a highball glass with water and dip it in salt to coat the rim with salt crystals.
  2. Add ice to the highball glass.
  3. Pour in the tequila and lime juice, then top with grapefruit juice or soda. Stir gently.
