Ingredients
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1.50 inches fresh ginger, sliced
- 1 or 2 jalapenos, sliced
- salted chili sugar, for the rim
- 1 1/2 oz tequila
- 1/2 oz mezcal
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/3 cup pomegranate or cranberry juice
- sparkling water to top up
Instructions
- To make the honey ginger syrup, bring water, honey, ginger, and jalapenos to a boil and let cool.
- Combine salt, sugar, and chili powder on a plate and rim the glass, then fill with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine ginger syrup, tequila, mezcal, lemon juice, and pomegranate or cranberry juice. Add ice and shake.
- Strain into a glass filled with ice and top with sparkling water.
- Garnish with mint as desired and enjoy!
