Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries
  • 2 fl oz Gin
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rosemary Peppercorn Simple Syrup by boiling water and granulated sugar in a saucepan until dissolved, then add rosemary and black peppercorns and simmer for at least 20 minutes. Crush the rosemary to release its flavor, then let the syrup cool and strain into a glass jar.
  2. Chill a coupe glass in the freezer, optionally adding ice cubes for faster chilling.
  3. Muddle the fresh strawberries and simple syrup in a shaker until the strawberries are crushed.
  4. Add the juice of the lime and the gin to the shaker and shake for 20 seconds until well combined and chilled.
  5. Strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a strawberry.
