Ingredients
- 6 oz. fresh apple cider
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 thin slice fresh ginger root
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1.50 oz. dry sherry
- 1 oz. apple brandy
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over high heat, combine the apple cider, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Stir well.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and pour the mixture into a heatproof glass or mug, placing the cinnamon stick in the glass.
- Top the glass with sherry and apple brandy. Serve hot.
