Whipped Citrus Fizz
The Whipped Citrus Fizz is a classic cocktail created by Henry C. Ramos, featuring a delightful combination of gin, citrus juices, and a creamy foam topping.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Plymouth Gin
- 1 oz heavy cream
- 1 oz chilled soda water
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1 medium egg white
- 3 dashes orange-flower water
- 1 dash vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except the soda water.
- Use a Hawthorne strainer spring to help whip the ingredients.
- Shake vigorously for 5 minutes.
- Add ice and shake for another minute.
- Pour the soda water into a chilled narrow highball glass.
- Slowly strain the drink into the glass on top of the soda, ensuring the foam rises about an inch above the glass.
- Alternatively, use a stick blender to whisk the ingredients together.
